OMRAN Group Adopts Private Records Management System in Collaboration with National Records and Archives Authority

Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group) has adopted a Private Records Management System, including a records classification framework and retention schedules, in collaboration with the National Records and Archives Authority, contributing to the development of institutional operations and enhancing information management efficiency across the Group.

The system aims to regulate the preservation, classification, and circulation of records through approved procedures that support accessibility of information and enhance workflow efficiency across the Group’s various organizational units.

The system covers different types of records circulated within the Group, with defined retention periods during the current and intermediate phases, in addition to organizing the transfer of permanent-value records in line with the laws and regulations governing records management in the Sultanate of Oman.

The adoption of the system reflects OMRAN Group’s commitment to implementing administrative practices that reinforce institutional governance and enhance operational efficiency in line with its organizational development objectives.
