Madinat Al Irfan East reflects OMRAN Group’s national role in supporting the tourism sector through the establishment of state-of-the-art urban mixed-use development designed to support Oman’s positioning as a strong MICE and tourism hub in the world.
A magnificent landmark of Madinat Al Irfan East, Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC) is the centrepiece of Oman’s business tourism. OCEC is linked to various hospitality assets, businesses and components dynamically designed to the business and leisure demands. The Eastern part of Madinat Al Irfan encompasses the Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC Hotel and Muscat’s first JW Marriot Hotel. This is in addition to the Business Park which is designed to house the offices of leading corporations, and currently home to the award-winning Omantel headquarters, in addition to the commercial building (1), which is currently being developed.
