OMRAN GROUP SPEARHEADS PIONEERING KITESURFING EXPEDITION, UNVEILING OMAN’S WATER SPORT WONDERS
OMRAN Group, in partnership with Oman Sail and Sea & Beach Projects, is delighted to announce the successful completion of a groundbreaking Kitesurfing expedition along Oman’s stunning coastline. This venture is a testament to OMRAN Group’s commitment to diversifying Oman’s tourism sector and enhancing the adventure experiences on offer, in preparation for the establishment of ‘downwinder’ activities and competitions in Oman.
Spanning 334km over five days, from Bar Al Hickman in the Wilayat of Mahout to Al Suwaih in Jalan Bani Abu Ali, the expedition aimed to explore potential sports and adventure experiences along Oman’s shores. The ideal wind conditions of Oman’s coast provide a prime setting for activities such as Kitesurfing and Wingfoiling.
