OMRAN Group has implemented the women-oriented ‘Sewing incubation program’ aiming to empower the local NGOs and SMEs in the Wilayat of Khasab located in Musandam Governorate in the northern part of the Sultanate of Oman.

Learning skills for employment

The program intends to empower women through the provision of training as well as to educate tailors from the local community to invest in their own existing potentials. The project was focusing on training the local women in Khasab on how to make laundry bags for Atana hotels (one of Omran’s newly established authentic local hotel chain) including Atana Khasab Hotel & Atana Musandam Resort. This was in corporation with the Women Association at Khasab (NGO), where the training was delivered by Sidab Sewing Group.
